Melodifestivalen 2019 - Grand Final Interviews (Part 4): Congratulations to John Lundvig who won in a landslide the 2019 edition of Sweden's Melodifestivalen which is Sweden's selection to the Eurovision Song Contest. John and the Mama's who the Jury's vote as well as the televote with the song "Too late for love" and will with this represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv, Israel in May. Radio International was on location in Stockholm conducting interviews with all the artists, the Hosts of the show and the Producer of Melodifestivalen 2019 - Christer Bjoerkman. Over the next weeks Radio International will be broadcasting those interviews during the shows in the run up to the Eurovision Song Contest 2019.

EUROVISION 2019 - Dare to Dream:  In Eurovision Terms called 2000 and Tel Aviv where the 64th Eurovision Song Contest will be staged May 14, 16 and 18 with 41 countries competing for the trophy and the right to host Eurovision 2020. The new series of the Eurovision Spotlight starts next week when the Radio International Eurovision Experts will be dividing Europe and Australia in regions and will be playing the songs of this year's Eurovision Song Contest and giving their opinion about the songs and their chances to victory.

Melodifestivalen 2019 Interviews: This week is catching up time with some interviews with the artists from Melodifestivalen which is the selection process in Sweden for the Eurovision Song Contest where Sweden's entry is selected. The first semifinal took place on Saturday 02 February 2019 in Gothenburg in the legendary Scandinavium Arena, where the Eurovision Song Contest 1985 took place with the Bobbysocks from Norway winning for Norway with  "Let it swing".

The Story continues: Eurovision Radio International was in Gothenburg and in addition to listening to the interviews on the show this week there will also be the chance to see the interviews on our YouTube Channel. Also there are a number of nice photos which you can view via this website: Melodifestivalen 2019 - Semi Final 1 - complete coverage. 

Salman Tanzem from Germany has attended Melodifestivalen 2019 Semi Final 2 in Malmoe, Sweden on 09 February 2019 and conducted short interviews with the artists from Semi Final 2 which we also have on the show this week - as the story continues :).

Now Sweden is preparing for the biggest show of the six and that is the Grand Final of Melodifestivalen 2019 from the Friends Arena of Stockholm, Solna with 12 acts in the final battling it out for the ticket to Tel Aviv and to represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. Radio International will be on location to interview the artists competing and you will hear some of the interviews already on the show next week.
