JESC2016: Interview with Poli Genova (Host 2015) & ESC 2016 Bulgaria

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2016 takes place in the Mediterranean Conference Centre (MCC) in Valletta, Malta on Sunday, 20 November 2016. A total of 17 countries are participating:

Albania, Armenia, Australia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Cyprus, FYRO Macedonia, Georgia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Malta, Poland, Russia, Serbia, The Netherlands and Ukraine.

The Delegations and many International Media are in Valletta, Malta to enjoy the biggest annual European music event for children. From the official welcoming ceremony onwards, everyone is focussed on not only delivering a good individual performance, but also to promoting the values in this year’s Junior Eurovision logo #Embrace.

When they aren’t busy rehearsing, the youngsters have had the opportunity to discover some of the sites and get to know some of the people from historic Malta.

Radio International is on hand to interview some of the young performers.

Poli Genova hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Bulgaria and she made a comeback to the Eurovision Song Contest stage in 2016 when she achieved the best ever placing for Bulgaria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 for Bulgaria - Number 4 with "If love was a crime". Poli Genova is part of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2016 performing during the interval act.  In this clip see the interview with Poli Genova with JP from Radio International.
