Interview with Ulrikke (Norway 2020): Norway celebrated their 60th Anniversary in participating at the Eurovision Song Contest and in view of this Norwegean broadcaster NRK organised a special National Final Selection Process including five Semi Finals and a Grand Final which was won by Ulrikke Brandstorp and the song "Attention", Norway would have been competing in the First Semi Final Second Half if the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 wouldn't have been cancelled due to the Corona Virus hitting the World. Radio International's JP together with Marc and Salman from Eurovision Austria met and interviewed the singer when she attended a Press Meeting organised by OGAE Sweden a day before the Grand Final of Melodifestivalen 2020. Melodifestivalen 2020 - Interviews with the contestants (Part 4):  Melodifestivalen is the selection process in Sweden for the Eurovision Song Contest where Sweden's entry is selected. Four Semi Finals selected 8 songs for the Grand Final and 8 songs for the Second Chance round. The Grand Final of Melodifestivalen 2020 was staged on Saturday, 07 March 2020 in the Friends Arena near Stockholm with 12 acts. The public and an international jury selected The Mamas with the song "Move". The results of the show can be viewed here.

Following the launch of the first two editions of the EUROVISION LOCKDOWN last weekend two more editions are planned for this weekend. This follows the sad news of the cancellation of the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 due to the Corona Virus outbreak globally and people have been told to stay indoors to not give the virus a chance of spreading.

The Team of Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience thought of easing the tough times with two additional Eurovision radio shows on Saturdays and Sundays. The idea is to entertain the listeners and fans with lots of Eurovision music of the 65 year history of the Eurovision Song Contest plus new music the Eurovision artists have released after their performance in the contest and most of all also the music requests of the listeners and fans.

On Sunday, Matthias Breitinger from Germany joins JP via SKYPE for a chat and plays Two Favourite Melodifestivalen Songs per Decade making it ten.

From Montreal, Canada Javier Leal continues the theme and picked his favourite music from Sweden's Melodifestivalen.

Lukas Gornitzka join JP via Skype from Stockholm in Sweden for some headbanging music requests and a chat. There plenty of room for music requests of the Eurovision Fan community and chats with the fans on air.

Fans can actively take part in the show to join JP and his team in the studio via a SKYPE phone call live on air to talk about their thoughts and request their favourite song which does not need to be a Eurovision song.

On the Saturday Show JP is joined by colleague Chris Poppe to play you ten great forgotten Eurovision Songs that should not have been forgotten.

Dana won the Eurovision Song Contest 1970 for Ireland on this very day 50 years ago - so JP played back an interview he did with the Eurovision Winner.

Over the last few weeks Radio International have been broadcasting interviews from Semi Final 2 and 4 and from the Second Chance qualifying for the Grand Final. Melodifestivalen 2020 - The Results of the Grand Final

Melodifestivalen 2020 - Interviews with the contestants:  Melodifestivalen is the selection process in Sweden for the Eurovision Song Contest where Sweden's entry is selected. Four Semi Finals selected 8 songs for the Grand Final and 8 songs for the Second Chance round. The Grand Final of Melodifestivalen 2020 was staged on Saturday, 07 March 2020 in the Friends Arena near Stockholm with 12 acts. The public and an international jury selected The Mamas to represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam come May with the song "Move". The results of the show can be viewed here.

Over the last few weeks Radio International have been broadcasting interviews from Semi Final 2 and 4 and from the Second Chance qualifying for the Grand Final.
