Lindsay Dracass (United Kingdom 2001) - No dream impossible (Digital Release)

Lindsay Dracass was propelled into the limelight and global media attention when at the age of just 16, she was selected to represent the United Kingdom at the 2001 Eurovision Song Contest with the infectious "No Dream Impossible".

Now, after years of waiting and fan campaigns, "No Dream Impossible" will finally be released across the digital download and streaming platforms worldwide on Monday 13th April 2020!

Hailing from Sheffield (South Yorkshire, UK), Lindsay began her professional singing career aged just 13 when she was discovered by Alan Wood. Juggling her school work and a singing career proved to be a smart move as she battled with tough competition through the BBC ‘A Song For Europe’ to be selected as the UK entry. She then went on to be one of the youngest ever performers to represent her country in front of millions of people around the world.

"No Dream Impossible" was well-received on the night of the contest in Copenhagen, Denmark and she was placed 15th overall – the single later smashed into the UK official top 40 providing a young Lindsay with her first hit.

After her Eurovision success and with a hit single under her belt, Lindsay joined up with musical legend Paul Carrack to add her vocal harmonies to his sound and toured as a backing vocalist across Europe and beyond, supporting huge bands including The Eagles.

Following these amazing experiences which helped build her experience as a world-class musician, Lindsay took some time out of the public eye to start a family of her own and to plan the next stage of her career.

In late 2017, Lindsay returned to our TV screens as part of ‘the hundred’ on the BBC prime time show ‘All Together Now’ for two series, where Lindsay joined the judging panel alongside the likes of Spice Girl Geri Horner (aka Ginger Spice) and even performed a section of the title song I’ve Got The Music In Me.

Lindsay then went on to release a stunning single in November 2018 – the beautiful ballad Not Mine, which graced the UK iTunes soul chart top ten – swiftly followed by Waiting For You - an album of original material, powerhouse vocals and captivating melodies.

The digital release of No Dream Impossible celebrates Lindsay’s return to the Eurovision circuit where she has performed at events across Europe including Eurostarz, Manchester Eurovision Party, Europride and J'aime La Vlie - with more to follow!
