SUMMERTIME  SPECIALS:

This week sees the third of four Summer Specials on Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience. The next and final Summer Special is scheduled for 29 Sep 2021. There will be repeats of some of the Eurovision Lockdown special hours which were not broadcast on some of the stations but are well worth to listen to. Details of the show are listed below and enjoy this week's four hours of Eurovision Madness.

Finish Fun - The History of Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest (Part 2) with Dermot Manning:

Finland has a great history being part at the Eurovision Song Contest since 1961. The Radio International Irish Voice - Dermot Manning presents Part 2 of 2. If you want to listen back to Part 1 listen back to the show from last week. Let's flash back into some Finish nostalgia at the Eurovision Song Contest.
This show was aired first during Radio International's Eurovision Lockdown period on 28 Feb 2021.

The San Remo Song Festival 2021 with Matthias Breitinger:

The San Remo Music Festival or Song Festival was started in 1951 in Italy selecting the best song of the year. Over the years the winner of this contest would then represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest. This was not always the case but then again in 2021 even leading to the victory of Maneskin at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 for Italy with the song "Zitti e buoni". Matthias Breitinger from Berlin joins JP in the studio with a pick of his ten favourite songs from the San Remo Song Festival 2021.

My Eurovision Top Ten with Nicki French (United Kingdom 2000):

The series continues where Eurovision personalities are co-hosting an hour with JP together and to present their ten most favourite songs from the Eurovision Song Contest. This week JP is joined by the great Eurovision Dame Nicki French from the United Kingdom. Nicki represented the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest 2000 in Stockholm, Sweden with the song "Don't play that song again".  We are thrilled to find out how Nicki's Top Ten of the Eurovision Song Contest looks like.
