Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience is broadcast from Malta's Radio 105FM on Tuesday evenings from 2100 - 2359 hours CET. The show is also broadcast on Castlepoint FM in the United Kingdom on Wednesday evenings from 2000 - 2300 hours CET as well as on the Facebook Page of Eurovision Radio International. Het Grote Eurovisie Songfestivalfeest took place on 15 December 2019 which was recorded for broadcast on Dutch channel NPO3 on New Year's Eve to ring in the Netherlands being host of the the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam May 12, 14 and 16. Prior to the show a Press event was organised by the production company and Radio International met some of the participating artists for a short interview you can hear on the show this week and in the weeks to come.



Interview with Izhar Cohen (Eurovision Winner 1978, Israel):  "Het grote Eurovisie Song Festval" TV show took place on 15 December 2019 and one of the many Eurovision Winners invited was in fact the very first Eurovision victory for Israel from 1978, Izhar Cohen who together with the Alphabeta won the Eurovision Song Contest 1978 with the song "A Ba Ni Bi". With this kicking off the four victories for Israel. Izhar returned to the Eurovision Song Contest in 1985 reaching Number 5 with the the song "Ole Ole Ole". Radio International's JP had the pleasure to meet Izhar after his rehearsal in Amsterdam and conducted an interview which you can hear on this week's edition of Radio International.

Interview with Getty Kaspers of Teach In (Eurovision Winner 1975): The Netherlands won the Eurovision Song Contest a total of five times with the last one being Duncan Laurence who won the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 with the song "Arcade" and with this bringing the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 to Rotterdam in May. The Eurovision Baton was now handed over to Duncan by the previous Dutch Eurovision Queen who won back in 1975 when Getty Kaspers was the lead singer of the the group Teach In. The winning song was "Ding a Dong". Getty was also part of the "Het grote Eurovisie Song Festval" TV show and attended a media meeting. Radio International had the pleasure to chat with Getty about her times back in 1975 and the career afterwards. Enjoy the interview which is broadcast on this week's edition of Radio International.

Interview with Katerine Duska (Greece 2019, Number 21): Greece was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 by Katerine Duska with the song "Better Love" reaching Number 21 in the Grand Final in Tel Aviv. Currently living in Canada, Katerine travels around the world to perform concerts to her fans. In November 2019 she came to London where Martin Palmer, show host of the Eurovision radio show "Let me be the One" on BSR in Bristol, met Katerine for an interview.
