Interview with Jessika (San Marino 2018):
At the recent edition of the Eurovision Weekend 2019 in Malta Jessika was invited as one of the guest singers to perform some of her high lights during her show block. Jessika tried various times to represent Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest but never managed it for Malta - however, for San Marino in 2018 when together with Jennifer Brening she performed the song "Who we are" which came 17th in Semi Final 2. Over the years Jessika shows her big diversity in music styles and also worked together with Thomas G:sson who is the genius behind Loreen's "Euphoria". Radio International's David and JP met up with Jessika after the show for a chat. Listen to this interview on the show this week.

OGAE FanVision Song Contest 2019 - Interview with Michele Imberti (Sweden): Back in 2010 Sweden was represented by Anna Bergendahl at the Eurovision Song Contest from Oslo, Norway with the song "This is my life" which failed to qualify for the Grand Final to the contest and ended up at Number 11 in Semi Final 2. In 2019, Anna returned to Sweden's Melodifestivalen with the song "Ashes to Ashes" which made it to Number 10 in the Grand Final. Reason enough to cover that song thought Michele Imberti and entered that particular song into the OGAE FanVision Song Contest 2019 as part of the Eurovision Weekend 2019 in Malta. He even bettered the result of Anna and took the song to Number 2 in the competition. Prior to the contest JP had the pleasure to chat with Michele which you can hear on this week's edition of the show.

OGAE FanVision Song Contest 2019 - Interview with Rachel Lawell (Malta): Certainly, one of the best voices of the OGAE FanVision Song Contest 2019 was the voice of Rachel Lowell who represented Malta at this year's contest with the song "A Million Voices" which originally ended up as the Runner Up to Mans Zerlmerlow's  "Hereoes" in Vienna in 2015 performed by Polina Gagarina. Rachel's interpretation took the song to Number 3 in the OGAE FanVision Song Contest 2019. During the soundcheck of the event Radio International's JP talked to Rachel about her musical career and more. You can hear that interview also on this week's edition of Radio International.

OGAE FanVision Song Contest 2019 - Interview with Eeva (Finland Pre-Selection 1964):
The funniest entry in the 2019 OGAE FanVision Song Contest definitely came from Eeva representing Finland. She selected a song from the Finnish National selection coming 4th in 1964  -
Pirkko Mannola - "Bzzz Bzzz Bzzz". Eeva made her own version of the song "Piss Piss Pss" and interpreted it very well on stage. During the soundcheck Radio International chatted with the singer which you can hear on this week's edition of Radio International and of course also hear the song. In case you missed the live transmission from Malta and could not listen to this song - enjoy it this week on Radio International.

Interview with KEiiNO (Norway 2019): What an amazing year it has been for Alexandra, Fred and Tom Hugo of KEiiNO who represented Norway at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv after they have been at all the preview events and parties around Europe and beyond. The song "Spirit in the Sky" won the Public Vote at Eurovision 2019 and overall Norway's 2019 Eurovision entry ranked at Number 6. Interview with Cesar Sampson (Austria 2018):  Before the Eurovision Song Contest many countries are hosting preview events and preparties for the many fans that are not able to go to the Eurovision Song Contest but then have a chance of touching Eurovision at those preparties. Not only are the current year's contestants invited to these events but also participants who took part in the Eurovision Song Contest previously. This was the case also with the Madrid PreParty 2019 when Cesar Sampson made a guest appearance during the performances and once more performed his entry "Nobody but you"which came third at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon, Portugal for Austria. Cesar has a famous relative, his aunt who performed as Pepsie and Shirley also as background singers for WHAM!  Radio International's JP met the singer for an update interview which you can hear on this week's edition of the show.

Zala and Gasper (Slovenia 2019) with JP in Tel Aviv

Interview with Zala Kralj and Gasper Santl (Slovenia 2019):  Slovenia made it to the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 with a surprise when Zala and Gasper qualified successfully out of  the Semi Final with the song "Sebi"which ranked 15th at the end of the Voting Sequence in the Grand Final of Eurovision 2019. The song is a very smooth and relaxing song performed by both and found many fans that voted for Slovenia's entry to Eurovision 2019. Just about four weeks ago the duo released their Eurovision follow on song "Come to me" under the new stage name Zalagasper. JP of Radio International had the pleasure to meet and interview Zala and Gasper right after their press conference in Tel Aviv at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019.
