The Eurovision Song Contest 2018 was staged in Lisbon, Portugal on 08, 10 and 12 May 2018 with Israel winning the 63rd Eurovision Song Contest. The Eurovision Microphone Trophy went to Netta for the song "Toy" receiving a combined vote from the Jury and the Televote of 529 points.

CONGRATULATIONS to Netta and Israel for the victory! 

Radio International's team was on location in Lisbon and met many of the artists and conducted interviews which you will hear on the weekly shows serving as PED Cure. This week's edition of Radio International is PED Cure Dose 3 including interviews with ZIBBZ (Swizterland 2018),  Christabelle (Malta 2018) and the Backing Vocalists of Christabelle who are amazing artists in their own right in Malta. Eurovision Song Contest 2018 - The Complete Coverage - POST EUROVISION DEPRESSION CURE



The Chapter Eurovision 2018 in the big book of the Eurovision Song Contest is drawing to a close with the Grand Final being staged on 12 May 2018 with the 26 Finalists. The Team of Radio International has been in Lisbon for two weeks to bring coverage as much as possible from the Press Conferences with each country, interviews with the artists, Blue Carpet clips and photos from the rehearsals to Europe's Biggest Music Show.  Over 200 Million viewers are expected to watch the shows in many countries around the world.

Radio International has been broadcasting many of the interviews already in the run up to the event during the weekly shows and two editions of the shows came live from Lisbon to get you into the mood for Europe's largest music competition.

This show is also the last show from the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 from Lisbon as the team of Radio International returns to the mother station in the Netherlands to bring you the usual show on Wednesdays. But this show is also meant to be part of this year's Post Eurovision Depression Cure.

The Team of Radio International has reached the Final Destination of Eurovision 2018 - Lisbon, Portugal where rehearsals have started of the 43 participating countries competing for the victory and the right to host the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. Three shows are scheduled with Semi Final 1 for Tuesday, 08 May 2018, Semi Final 2 on Thursday 10 May 2018 and the spectacular Grand Final on 12 May 2018.  Over 200 Million viewers are expected to watch the shows in many countries around the world. There are many press conferences and interview sessions with the artists from all the countries. 

Radio International has been broadcasting many of the interviews already in the run up to the event during the weekly shows and two editions of the shows are coming live from Lisbon to get you into the mood for Europe's largest music competition. The show on Wednesday 09 May 2018 focusses on Semi Final 2 songs and half of the Grand Final including interviews with
Jessica Mauboy (Australia), Michael Schulte (Germany), The Humans (Romania), Vanja Radovanovic (Montenegro), Jessika and Jenifer Brening (San Marino), Laura Rizzotto (Latvia), AWS (Hungary), Lea Sirk (Slovenia), Claudia Pascoal (Portugal) and Groome feat. Lukas Meijer (Poland).
Also we run through the songs in the order of how they will be appearing during Semi Final 2 and introduce to you the songs of the Grand Final.

The Team of Radio International has reached the Final Destination of Eurovision 2018 - Lisbon, Portugal where rehearsals have started of the 43 participating countries competing for the victory and the right to host the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. Three shows are scheduled with Semi Final 1 for Tuesday, 08 May 2018, Semi Final 2 on Thursday 10 May 2018 and the spectacular Grand Final on 12 May 2018.  Over 200 Million viewers are expected to watch the shows in many countries around the world. There are many press conferences and interview sessions with the artists from all the countries. 

Radio International has been broadcasting many of the interviews already in the run up to the event during the weekly shows and two editions of the shows are coming live from Lisbon (May 02 and May 09) to get you into the mood for Europe's largest music competition. Wednesday 09 May 2018 focusses on the Semi Final 1 songs and half of the Grand Final including interviews with Ireland's Ryan O'Shaugnessy, Lithuania's Ieva Zasimauskaite and Albania's Eugent Bushpepa. Also David Mann chatted with Malta's 2015 Eurovision entrant - AMBER who performed "Warrier"in Vienna.

Also we run through the songs in the order of how they will be appearing during Semi Final 1, 2 and introduce to you the songs of the Grand Final. 

Next week, May 09, the show will focuss on Semi Final 2 and more interviews with this year's Eurovision Stars. The usual show items will return after the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 on Wednesday, 16 May 2018.  Join us live this Wednesday 02 May 2018 live from Lisbon from 2000 - 2300 pmCET for Eurovision Radio International this week.
