Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026: The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026 took place on 24 Oct 2026 from the Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre in Ta' Qali, Malta, and was presented by former Junior Eurovision Winners 2013 and 2015 Gaia Cauchi and Destiny Chukunyere, and Keane Cutajar. All three hosted the Malta National Final to the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 earlier on in January 2026. It is the third time Malta hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest after 2014 and 2016. It was the 24th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. 18 countries are participating in the Junior Eurovision 2026: Albania, Armenia, Cyprus, France, Georgia, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Montenegro, The Netherlands, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, Spain and the Ukraine. JP, Johannes and Alain were in Malta and conducted interviews with many of the young artists and more which will be aired on Radio International during the coming weeks.

Junior Eurovision 2026 Interview with Beppe (Malta): This week Radio International will continue broadcasting an interviews with the young stars from the stage of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026. Beppe represented Malta with the song "Blue Bird" which is a song about the national bird of Malta. The song was written by Muxxu and Matt Blxck. At the end of the voting sequence Malta ranked 7th on the Junior Eurovision Score Board. The Team of Radio International had the pleasure to meet Beppe in the lobby of his hotel for this interview. Enjoy this charming young singer.

Interview with Matt Blxck (Malta ESC 2026): In the run-up to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Malta, Radio International's JP and Johannes bumped into Matt Blxck who came second to Aidan's "Bella" in the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2026 with the song "Ejja lejja ħdejja 'l hawn (The Flute)". Matt Blxck together with Muxxu and Beppe among others wrote the Maltese entry to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026 entitled "Blue Bird" which came 7th with 136points after the voting sequence. JP interviewed Matt on his participation as songwriter at the contest catch up with the artists career development after his success at the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2026. Eurovision Song Contest 2026 Asia: The very first Eurovision Song Contest 2026 Asia will be taken to the stage in One Bangkok Forum, Bangkok on Saturday, 14 Nov 2026 at 1430 hours CET, in partnership with Thailand’s Channel 3 and Voxovation, with broadcasters from 11 countries across Asia bringing their own voice, identity and storytelling to what is going to be one of the world's biggest stages.
If you heading to Bangkog or are already there and have not yet a tickets for the show, head to the Tickets page on the Eurovision Asia website to buy tickets for not only the Live Broadcast Grand Final on Saturday 14 Nov 2026, but also a Grand Final Preview Show on Friday 13 Nov 2026.
Participating Countries are Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia,Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, The Philippines, Republic of Korea (South), Thailand and Vietnam reaching 600+ Million people.
Radio International this week and next week will be giving a complete preview of the songs in the running order of the contest.

The Home Composed Song Contest 2026: The annual music competition for non-professional musicians takes place again and is already in full swing. The public and jury have the opportunity to cast their votes as well. Visit the website of the Home Composed Song Contest 2026 - https://home26.org/.
The Home Composed Song Contest is in its 35th year, this is a competition for Eurovision fans who write, perform and produce their own music, who enter their own original song composition (audio only) and then also take part as a jury, to help choose the winning song. This year there are 17 songs from 10 different countries, and you can listen to the songs as well on the official website - https://home26.org/.
The Radio International Team once again forms one Jury and you will be able to hear the songs also on the next three editions of Radio International. Well done to all participants and may the best entry win.
The results will be published on 05 Dec 2026 during the Grand Final Show on the contests YouTube Channel reachable via the website https://home26.org/.
