REST IN PEACE: Udo Juergens is dead

Udo Juergens

According to a news flash from ARD Udo Juergens passed away today during a walk when his heart failed. Further news via ARD.de or tagesschau.de.

Udo Juergens won the Eurovision Song Contest 1966 in Luxembourg with the song "Merci Cherie" for Austria and has been regularly touring performing his songs. Only this year he celebrated his 80th birthday. Rest in peace Udo and thank you for the many wonderful songs you have given us over the many years.
