Interview with Vanessa Amarosi (Australia Decides 2020): In the summer series of live interviews Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience is reaching out to a number of artists from the world of the Eurovision Song Contest but also from the national finals. This week Radio International's JP and John Dawton are being joined via SKYPE by Vanessa Amarosi from Australia who took part in Australia Decides 2020 which is the National Selection Process to the Eurovision Song Contest in Australia. The song in the running was "Lessons on Love" which reached Number 3 in the Australia Decides which was won by Montaigne and "Don't break me". We will be chatting to the world star from Australia who had a smash hit in 2000 entitled "Absolutely Everybody" being the unofficial anthem of the Olympic Games. Enjoy this interview with this amazing artist from Down Under.

    Live Interview with Mia Negovetic (DORA - Croatian National Final 2020): In the summer series of live interviews Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience is reaching out to a number of artists from the world of the Eurovision Song Contest but also from the national finals. This week Radio International's JP and John Dawton are being joined via SKYPE by Mia Negovetic from Croatia who took part in DORA 2020 which is the Croatian National Selection Process to the Eurovision Song Contest. The song in the running is entitled "When it comes to you" and received the same number of points than Damir Kedzo by the public and by the jury. It was decided to give the victory to Damir to represent Croatia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with the song "Divlji vjetre". However, then Eurovision 2020 was cancelled due to the Corona Pandemic.

    Regína and Friðrik of EUROBAND (Iceland 2008)

    Interview with Euroband (Iceland 2008): Euroband (Eurobandið) is the name of the Icelandic technopop and dance duo Friðrik Ómar and Regína Ósk, who together represented Iceland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrade, Serbia. They performed the epic song "This Is My Life" in Semi Final 2 and could successfully qualify Iceland for the Grand Final where at the end of the voting they finished at Number 14.
    Radio International's David Mann had the pleasure to meet Euroband at a Eurovision event in London and took the chance of an interview with the energetic singers.

    Live Interview with Parvani Violet (Slovenian National Final 2020):  In the summer series of live interviews Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience is reaching out to a number of artists from the world of the Eurovision Song Contest but also from the national finals. This week Radio International's JP and John Dawton are being joined via SKYPE by Parvani Violet from Slovenia who took part in EMA 2020 which is the Slovenian National Selection Process to the Eurovision Song Contest. The song in the running is entitled "Cupid" and came third place. The Winner of EMA 2020 was Ana Soklič with the song "Voda" which would have been Slovenia's entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 if it would not have been cancelled due to the Corona Pandemic.

It's  Lesley Roy who was selected by Irish broadcaster RTE to represent her country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with the song "Story of my life". Unfortunately, due to the Corona pandemie the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 was cancelled. However, the artists and the songs were honoured by special TV and Radio programmes.

    Thank you for supporting and joining the show over the last 30 Episodes since Mid March 2020 and the beginning of the Corona Lockdown of many countries around the world. We will be there with a our regular edition of  Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience which will take it's place again on Castlepoint FM and Run FM in the United Kingdom in addition to the live broadcast on Wednesday evenings. That way, you still get your Eurovision Experience on your radio for the weekend. :) THANK YOU! JP and the Team of Radio International


    The Team of Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience created two additional Eurovision radio shows on Saturdays and Sundays. The idea is to entertain the listeners and fans with lots of Eurovision music of the 65 year history of the Eurovision Song Contest plus new music Eurovision artists have released after their performance in the contest and most of all also the music requests of the listeners and fans, to take you through the long Corona Crisis period of time.

    First Hour: JP will start in the first hour with some Eurovision Classics, your listener's requests and new material of Eurovision artists that have reached the Radio International Tower of Eurovision Power.

    Second Hour:  JP is re-joined by Radio International's Dermot Manning from Dublin in Ireland to present to us an hour of great songs from Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest. A nice play list is expecting you there.

    Third Hour: And closing out the series of the Radio International - The Eurovision Lockdown in the third and final hour JP will be once again joined by Mattias Breitinger from Berlin in Germany to  present an hour of Eurovision - Black Artists Matter. This then is sadly the last hour of the Eurovision Lockdown for the time being. Thank you all for listening and taking part in the show over the last 30 Episodes.


    This next and final edition of the show will take place on Sunday, 28 June 2020, 1300 - 1600 hours CET live via Castlepoint FM in the United Kingdom but available also via the Radio International Facebook Group "Eurovision Radio International" where you can find the chatroom.     The Team of Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience created two additional Eurovision radio shows on Saturdays and Sundays.
