Meet the Stars of Eurovision 2026: Eurovision in Concert 2026 took place at the AFAS Live Concert Venue in
Amsterdam, the Netherlands on Sat 11 Apr 2026 with 27 acts from the
Eurovision Song Contest 2026 performing their entry to many thousands of
Eurovision fans. Members of the Radio International Team were on
location and conducted interview with some of the acts.

Interview with Sal da Vinci (Italy 2026): This week get to know Sal da Vinci who won the prestigious San Remo Song Festival 2026 and with that he is Italy's Musical Ambassador at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 with the song "Per sempre si".

Interview with Sarah Engels (Germany 2026): Representing Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 is Sarah Engels who won the Germany National Final at the end of February 2026. As Germany as well as Italy, France, the United Kingdom and also Spain (not participating in 2026) are the Big 5 countries and with that qualified to compete directly in the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 to take place on Sat 16 May 2026. Interview with Daniel Zizka (Czechia 2026): Representing Czechia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 is Daniel Zizka who performs the song "Crossroads" in Semi Final 2 at starting position Number 5. Interview with Krista Siegfrids (Finland 2013): The organisers of Eurovision in Concert always find a former Eurovision performer to co-host this big concert and this year the choice fell on Krista Siegfrids who represented Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with the song "Mary Me" which came 24th. In the meantime Krista actually got married and found her love in Amsterdam and enjoys a family life including a child. Radio International's JP bumped into Krista during the Media Session of Eurovision in Concert 2026 and conducted an interview with Krista Siegfrids which you can hear on the show this week.

Interview with Chess Galea (Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2026): The Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2026 took place on Saturday 17 Jan 2026 with Aidan winning the competition with the song "Bella" representing Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026.
Chess Galea is a debutant in the Malta Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Shout it out" which unfortunately was eliminated in the Semi Final and did not make it into the Grand Final of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest. Prior to the show Radio International's JP had the pleasure to interview Chess which you can hear on the show this week.
The Eurovision Spotlight - The Eurovision 2026 Land in Geographical Regions: Austria
will host the
Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in the Wiener Stadthalle on 12 and 14 May
2026 for the two Semi Finals and the Grand Finale to take place on
Saturday, 16 May 2026. And as a tradition the Radio International
Eurovision Experts have split the Eurovision 2026 participating
countries in geographical regions and over the next weeks you will hear
all the 35 Eurovision 2026 entries on the show presented by the Radio
International Team.
This week Ross Bennett continues the new series of the Eurovision Spotlight looking at the entries from the countries in the Southern region of Eurovision 2026 Land.
