EUROVISION 2023 - The National Final Season: The
Most Wonderful Time of the Year is in full swing - the selection
process in various countries around Europe and Australia that are participating at the Eurovision
Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool, United Kingdom on May 09, 11 and 13 for
the Grand Final. In the run up to the Eurovision Song Contest 2023,
Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience will be playing
many of the songs that are offered to the public in the many
participating countries out of which the best ones will be competing in
Liverpool in May.
Also JP will be joined by David Mann for the Eurovision Birthday File and Eurovision Coverspot as well as Ross Bennett presents in the Eurovision Spotlight: Eurovision 2023 - The National Finals taking a lot at the selections of the last seven days. Then there will be some of the great new releases of Eurovision artists
are on the show as well as great Eurovision Classics. Javier will be
updating us on the upcoming Eurovision events in his Eurovision Calendar
and Nick van Lith has the latest update from the Eurovision News Room

Malta's History at the Eurovision Song Contest: In 2022, Malta celebrated, as part of their National Final 50 years being part of the Eurovision Family. Many of the previous Maltese entrants returned to the stage in Malta's Fairs and Convention Centre to perform their Maltese Eurovision entries once more. Malta has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 34 times since its
debut in 1971 and has yet to win the contest. It is the only non-winning
country to have achieved four top three results. JP will play some of the highlights of Malta's Eurovision entries and give more information in this special hour and especially in view of the upcoming 2023 edition of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest on 09 and 11 February 2023 when Glen Vella (Malta 2011) and Amber (Malta 2015) will be hosting the Semi Final and the Grand Final. There will be a special hour in next week's edition of Radio International to introduce the 24 Semi Finalists.
