Eurovision You Decide 2019 - United Kingdom: On Friday, 08 February 2019, Eurovision Winner 2015 Mans Zelmerloew and Mel hosted the United Kingdom National Final to select the act to represent the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. Michael Rice was selected by the public to be the UK's Musical Ambassador 2019 with the song "Bigger than us". Our roving reporter David Mann was at the event and brought with him a recording of the Press Conference with Michael Rice hosted by Mans Zelmerloew. Melodifestivalen 2019 - Semi Final 1 (Gothenburg, Sweden) - Interviews with the contestants:
Melodifestivalen is the selection process in Sweden for the Eurovision Song Contest where Sweden's entry is selected. The first semifinal took place on Saturday 02 February 2019 in Gothenburg in the legendary Scandinavium Arena, where the Eurovision Song Contest 1985 took place with the Bobbysocks from Norway winning for Norway with "Let it swing".
In
this first Semi Final Melodifestivalen 2019 seven artists competed to
advance in to the Grand Final (and Second Chance round) of
Melodifestivalen 2019 to be held in Stockholm's Friends Arena on 09
March 2019. Eurovision Radio International was in Gothenburg and in
addition to listening to the interviews on the show this week there will
also be the chance to see the interviews on our YouTube Channel. Also

Since last week there was not much time left on the show not many interviews were broadcast from Melodifestivalen 2019, however, this there should be more time at hand to broadcast the interviews with the singers from Melodifestivalen 2019, Semi Final 1. But also Salman Tanzem from Germany has attended Melodifestivalen 2019 Semi Final 2 in Malmoe, Sweden last weekend and conducted short interviews with the artists from Semi Final 2 which we also try to squeeze into the show this week.
Romania's National Selection 2019 - Interviews with Olivier Kaye and Letiția Moisescu: Romania's selection process to the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 is in full swing with two Semi Finals already taken place and now upcoming Sunday 17 February 2019 the Grand Final will be staged with 12 acts battling it out for the tickets to represent Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv in Israel come May. This week two artists will be part of the show for a live interview with Letiția Moisescu and Olivier Kaye.
EUROVISION 2019 - Dare to Dream: In a brand new year in Eurovision Terms called 2000 and Tel Aviv where the 64th Eurovision Song Contest will be staged May 14, 16 and 18. The National Final Season has begun just before Christmas 2018 with Albania selecting their country's choice. Radio International keeps you up to date every week with the detailed happenings during the National Final Season. That is also reflected in the new series of the Eurovision Spotlight which is devoted entirely to the national finals 2019.
