Interview with Ari Olafsson (Iceland 2018):  Iceland was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 by then 19 year old Arie Olafsson who won the Icelandic National Final and with this the ticket to Lisbon and the Eurovision Song Contest. Unfortunately, not a good result for Iceland only coming 19th in Semi Final 1. Arie was guest artist in the 2018 edition of the Eurovision Club Germany convention 2018 last November in Cologne, Germany where JP caught up with the singer. Very talented and a great singer Arie now studies music arts in London. You can hear that interview and more details of his career development on the show this week.

OGAE Germany's Annual Convention 2019:  The annual convention of OGAE Germany is us usual scheduled at the end of January, in fact, on Saturday 26 January 2019 in Wirtshaus zum Isartal in Munich, Germany with the participation of a great line-up of Eurovision artists and personalities. In recent year organisers always surprised the audience with specials guests - so who will it be this year???:). But also a bunch of national and international artists are invited as they are:  Betty Missiego (Spain 1979), Ireen Sheer (Germany 1978, Luxembourg 1974 and 1985), Imri Ziv (Israel 2017), Ryan O'Shaugnessy (Ireland 2018) and Esther Hart (Netherlands 2003). OGAE Germany's PR Officer and Co-Host of the event Frank Albers will be joining JP live during the show this week to chat about this particular event. 


EUROVISION 2019 - Dare to Dream:  In a brand new year in Eurovision Terms called 2000 and Tel Aviv where the 64th Eurovision Song Contest will be staged May 14, 16 and 18. The National Final Season has begun just before Christmas 2018 with Albania selecting their country's choice. Radio International keeps you up to date every week with the detailed happenings during the National Final Season. That is also reflected in the new series of the Eurovision Spotlight which is devoted entirely to the national finals 2019.

Interview with Michael Schulte (Germany 2018):  What a result for Germany after having had some rather low positions of the score board in recent years. Michael Schulte performed the song "You let me walk alone" which reached Number 4 at the end of the voting with a total of 340 points. Not only having this smashing result at Eurovision, Michael became daddy in August 2018 and his song sold really well in many countries around Europe. In addition, he received a very important award in Germany. Michael was guest artist in the 2018 edition of the Eurovision Club Germany convention 2018 last November in Cologne, Germany where JP caught up with the singer. With Christmas behind us and now heading towards the brand new year 2019.  The Team of Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience continues to accompany the many Eurovision fans also into 2019. There is great music from the Eurovision Song Contest past and present, including new music of Eurovision performers. The first edition of Radio International of 2019 will also be a more music edition with JP playing a mix of great Eurovision tunes but also some new music from Eurovision performers. Then there will be the OGAE UK EUROBASH Panel 2018 with David Mann. Details of this week's show are below. The OGAE UK EUROBASH Panel 2018:  The OGAE UK EUROBASH took place at in Leeds, UK on 06 October 2018 and the annual panel included the former Executive Supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest - Svante Stockselius, SuRie who represented the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 and Poli Genova who represented Bulgaria twice at the Eurovision Song 2011 and 2016. Radio International recorded the conversation in front of the audience in Leeds, and is delighted to make share this panel interview to the many Eurovision fans worldwide.

Live Interview with Eurovision Santa: On very short notice Radio International is delighted to have a live link up with Eurovision Santa who represented his/her country at the Eurovision Song Contest within this decade. The singer has a new song out only this week as well performs this with her/his new band. Be surprised who this Eurovision Santa is.

Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 - More Interviews:  The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 took place in Minsk, Belarus on Sunday, 25 November 2018 with Poland winning it the very first time. The winning song  "Anyone I want to be" was performed by 13 year old Roksana Węgiel who we had the pleasure to have on the show live last week. Courtesy of our radio colleague Alain Forotti who is a blind radio journalist working for radio stations in Berlin and Belgium, kindly collaborated with Radio International and this week we will air a few more interviews with the young artists - just in time for Christmas :).

Live Interview with Roksana Węgiel (JESC 2018 Winner, Poland):  The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 took place in Minsk, Belarus on Sunday, 25 November 2018 with Poland winning it the very first time since its existence. The winning song  "Anyone I want to be" was performed by 13 year old Roksana Węgiel and received a totoal of 215 points from the televote and the juries. Radio International is extremely delighted that Roksana or Roxie will be joining the show this week live from Poland for an interview.

Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018:  This weekend sees the 16th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest live from Minsk, Belarus with the participation of 20 countries' young musical ambassadors. After the Opening Reception on Monday evening we have a Running Order and Radio International will play you clips of all the songs in the order as they appear during the show on Sunday, 25 November 2018. escXtra Editor in Chief and Radio International Eurovision News man Nathan Waddel is on location in Minsk and technical capabilities permitting will be linking up with JP in the studio for the Eurovision News live from Minsk and the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018. This week listen to an interview JP did with Fabrizio Faniello (Malta 2001 and 2006) at the recent edition of the OGAE Denmark Eurovision Convention in Copenhagen. Fabrizio represented Malta at the Eurovision Song Contests 2001 (in Copenhagen) with the song "Another Summer Night" reaching Number 9 and then he went again for Malta in 2006 with the song "I do I do I Do" coming 24th. Fabrizio enjoyed huge successes in 2001 in Copenhagen right after the Eurovision Song Contest as his entry as well as his album sold really well in the Danish Music Charts. And just a few weeks ago Fabrizio released his latest album "Unexpected" which contain alsotwo of his new singles.
