Eurovision 2015: The Complete Recap

The Eurovision Song Contest 2015 takes place in Vienna, Austria where 40 countries competed for the trophy of the 60th Eurovision Song Contest. Radio International was on location and conducted many interviews with the participating artists which we have listed below for you to watch. Each country's rehearsal was followed by a Press Conference and then one to one interviews. Below you can find the links sorted in alphabetical order per country. Enjoy the interviews. 

CONGRATULATIONS! to Mans Zelmerloew from Sweden for winning the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song "Heroes" and received of 365 points from the international juries and televoters which is the third highest vote ever at Eurovision.

Life Ball 2015: Fighting aids and celebrating life

Vienna is not only the host city of Eurovision Song Contest 2015. Vienna is also hosting the biggest charity event in Europe - The Life Ball. The 23rd edition of this glamorous and important event was held 16th May 2015. 

The theme of the year was GOLD VER SACRUM with refrences to ancient Rome. I assume that there are no golden shoes, tights or accessories to be found in any shop in Vienna after this weekend.

Enjoy the spectaculour dresses in this short slideshow. 

After the red carpet the Life Ball party was held inside the Vienna Rathaus for 3700 guests who could afford, are were lucky, to get a ticket.

Eurovision 2015: Crying at the Volksoper with La Bohème

We are following the message of Eurovision 2015 - Building Bridges. One night we went to see "La Bohème", one of Giacomo Puccini's most famous operas. Can you imagin - we found a bridge between year 2015 back into 1896. The other bridge went from Stadthalle to Volksoper and the third one connected Eurovision-music with opera.

Eurovision 2015: Cruising on the Danube with ESC-friends

Eurovision is not only about music. The contest also gives us a chance to discover a new city every year. A 'must' in Vienna is to take a cruise on the Danube. Thanks to Vienna Turismus for giving us the possibility to explore your nice city. www.wien.info




We had a nice time, enjoying the food onboard. So did the Estonian (Elina and Stig) and Lituanian artists (Monika and Vaidas).
