As most members of Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience are taking their well-earned late summer vacation in the South of Europe for the next week there are special programmes that JP together with the colleagues will be presenting to you. See below what is coming up this week. The normal format of Radio International continues on 22 October 2025. But in the meantime enjoy the shows coming up.

In the first hour JP will introduce some new releases by Eurovision Artists. There will be the Eurovision Calendar with Javier Leal, The National Final update with Alain Forotti, The Eurovision Birthday File and Eurovision Coverspot with David Mann - all in the first hour. Hours 2, 3 and 4 will each be Eurovision Spotlight XXL hours with special themes. Details are listed below.

The Eurovision Spotlight - The Eurovision 2025 Land in Regions:  All countries have now selected their entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 and with this marking the end of the National Final Season 2025 and the start of the Pre-Party Season where the artists promote their entries to the fans at e.g. Eurovision in Concert in Amsterdam, Madrid Pre-Party, London's Preview Event, MancHagen, The Nordic Eurovision PreParty and Eurovision Party SKG in Greece.

36 countries are taking part in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 which will be taking place on 13 and 15 May 2024 for the two Semi Finals and the Grand Final on 17 May 2025. Radio International split the Eurovision Land 2025 into geographical regions North, East, South, West, Central, etc and each week the Radio International Eurovision experts are selecting one region playing the 2025 Eurovision entries. Marcus Keppel Palmer will be continuing the series looking at the Southern Countries' entries for this year.

MEET THE EUROSTARS 2025 - Interviews with Sissal (Denmark 2025) and Kyle Alessandro (Norway 2025):  During the Melodifestivalen 2025 Grand Final Week the OGAE of Sweden organised the fantastic MelFestWknd 2025 in Nalen of Stockholm where national and international media could meet the attending artists. On the guest lists among other were also Sissal who will represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with the song "Hallucination". As well attending the MelFstWknD 2025 Media Meeting was Kyle Alessandro who represents Norway with the song "Lighter". He brought with him the songwriter of the song Adam Woods who himself competed in Melodifestivalen previously. Meet the EUROSTARS 2025 on the show this week enjoying the interview Radio International did with the artists.

Dre' Curmi (Malta Eurovision Song Contest 20205)

Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2025 - Interview with Dre' Curmi: On Sat. 08 Feb 2025 Miriana Conte and her song "Kant" (now "Serving")  was selected by the jury and Maltese public to represent Malta at the Eurovision Song Contetest 2025 in Basel in May. Radio International conducted interviews with all the contestants at the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2025 and more. Over the next weeks you will hear these interviews on Radio International's weekly dose. Muzika Muzika 2025:  Muzika Muzika is a music competition focussing on and celebrating the the Maltese Music. In 2021, Muzika Muzika returned after many years in hibernation with Glen Vella winning the first edition of the new ages, followed by Kurt Calleja, Gianluca Bezzina and Maxine Pace. The 2025 edition of Muzika Muzika took place on Thursday to Saturday 27, 28 and 29 Mar 2025 at MFCC in Ta Qali, Malta with Keith Demicolo, Moira Delia and Clare Agius being the hosts of the three shows.
16 Artists competed in Muzika Muzika 2025: Lisa Gauci, Hannah, Mara, Cliff Zammit Stevens, Daniel Cauchi, Marilyn Aqualina, Kapitlu Tlettax, Liston u Ema, Kersten Graham, Jasmin Abela, Gaia Gauchi, Pamela Bezzina, Jamie Cardona, Janvil ft Garison, Claudia Faniello, Ryan Hili and Brooke

Shkodra Elektronike (Kolë Laca and Beatriçe Gjergji) (Albania 2025)

MEET THE EUROSTARS 2025 - Interview with Shkodra Elektronike (Albania 2025):   The Festivali i Këngës 63 which is Albania's selection process to find the act that will represent Albania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel. The winner of Festivali i Këngës 63 is Shkodra Elektronike concisting of Kolë Laca and Beatriçe Gjergji and they will represent Albania at Eurovision 2025 with the song "Zjerm" in Semi Final 1 in the second half. Alain Forrotti met the singers at the biggest travel fair in the world held in Berlin at the beginning of March and used the chance for an interview Radio International is broadcasting on the show this week.
