Interview with Eurovision Winner Nicole (Germany 1982): It was back in 1982, and it was in Harrogate, Yorkshire in the United Kingdom that the Eurovision Song Contest 1982 took place with 18 countries paticipating while Jan Leeming hosted the show. The winner at the end of the voting sequence was Germany as Nicole represented her country with the beautiful entry entitled "Ein bisschen Frieden" (A little bit of peace) written by Ralph Siegel and Bernd Meinunger. At the reprise Nicole sang the winning songs in different languages. Now almost 45 years later Nicole embarked on her anniversary tour through Germany introducing new songs to the fans but also of course her evergreen classics such as "Flieg nicht so hoch mien kleiner Freund", "Papillion" and others. Radio International's Salman met Nicole just before the concert in Mannheim, Germany and conducted an interview which Radio International will be sharing with the many Eurovision Fans on the show this week.
Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026: The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026 is the 24th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest staged on 24 October 2026 from the Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre in Ta' Qali, Malta, and is presented by former Junior Eurovision Winners 2013 and 2015 Gaia Cauchi and Destiny Chukunyere, and Keane Cutajar. All three hosted the Malta National Final to the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 earlier on in January 2026. It is the third time Malta hosts the Junior Eurovision Song Contest after 2014 and 2016. 18 countries are participating in the Junior Eurovision 2026: Albania, Armenia, Cyprus, France, Georgia, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Montenegro, The Netherlands, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, Spain and the Ukraine. In view of the contest Radio International will be introducing the participating entries on the show this week and next week plus also looking back to some of the contests highlights over the years.

The Eurovision Spotlight - The Magic Letter Game: Also in the autumn the Radio International Summer Feature continuous for a few more editions before looking back at the Eurovision entries of Bulgaria which is the country that will host the next Eurovision Song Contest 2027 in Burgas. The Magic Letter Game involving Eurovision
Songs which you will be presented by the Radio International Team of
Experts :). Dermot Manning continues the series with Letter M and will
explain the Rules of the Game.
