Melodifestivalen
is Sweden's selection process to find that song that will represent
Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest. Out of 2794 submitted songs 30
entries are being distributed into 5 heats out of which two songs
advance to the Grand Final of Melodifestivalen 2025 in the Strawberry
(Friends) Arena on 08 May 2025 and out of each heat 1 song is selected
to Final Qualification or second chance round. From that two songs join
the ten winners from the heats to have a Grand Final of 12 songs the
winner of which will be representing Sweden at the Eurovision Song
Contest 2025 in Basel, Switzerland.
Radio International's JP is
on location of Heat 4 in Malmö to report and interview the artists
who are battling it out for a place in the Grand Final of
Melodifestivalen 2025.
