Eurovision 2018: Interview with Edward af Sillén

A total of forty-three countries compete this year on May 8th and 10th in the two Semi Finals and then in the Grand Final itself on May 12th 2018.


In this clip. we chat to the multi-talented Edward af Sillén from Sweden, for some years the voiceover man on Melodifestivalen, as well as being a script and lyric writer for Eurovision itself, and the man who, with Sarah Dawn Finer, created the character of Lynda Woodruffe. Edward was again in the SVT TV commentary box for Eurovision in Lisbon.

This week, Radio International celebrates 19 years on-air!
It's the end of  November already and 2017's Junior Eurovision Song Contest took place on Sunday November 26th, while the 2018 Eurovision National Selection Season is already well under way! We'll hear this year's Junior Eurovision winner of course and we've a double celebration of our own too - Radio International has been on-air for 19 years (almost to the day), and this week we also reach the 250th edition of the show's Eurovision Covers Spot. So welcome along to this week's special celebratory edition of Radio International as David Mann once again 'sits in' for regular host JP.
