Interview with Eurovision Winners Bobbysocks (Norway 1985): 
The 3rd edition of the Big Eurovision Festival (Het Grote Eurovisie Songfestivalfeest) took place in the Ziggo Dome of Amsterdam the Netherlands on 16 Nov 2023 with the participation of Alessandra・ALIKA・Bobbysocks・Charlotte Perrelli・Conchita Wurst・Cornelia Jakobs・Eleni Foureira・Ell & Nikki・Emmelie de Forest・Gjon's Tears・Gustaph・Johnny Logan・KEiiNO・Käärijä・Linda Wagenmakers・Luca Hänni・Måns Zelmerlöw・Rosa Linn・Ruslana・Ruth Jacott・Serhat・Stefania・The Roop・Verka Serduchka・WRS

Radio International continues broadcasting the interviews this week on the show with Eurovision Winners The Bobbysocks who won the Eurovision Song Contest 1985 for Norway with the song "Let it swing".

Eurovision Spotlight - The Eurovision Song Contest 2024 - National Final Season: Sweden will be hosting the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 which will be the 68th contest in its history coming once again from the Malmoe Arena, Malmoe, Sweden on 07 & 09 May 2024 for the two Semi Finals and the Grand Final scheduled for Saturday 11 May 2024. Many participating countries to the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 are holding their selection shows across Europe and each week on Radio International we take a look at the ongoing selection processes and play some of the highlights from the National Finals and songs that actually will be selected to represent their country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmoe. Starting off this week is Alasdair Rendall who starts this new series of the Eurovision Spotlight highlighting the first songs of the National Final Season 2024.

Also JP will be joined by David Mann for the Eurovision Birthday File and Eurovision Coverspot.
There will be a lot of the great new releases of Eurovision artists on the show as well as great Eurovision Classics. Javier will be updating us on the upcoming Eurovision events in his Eurovision Calendar and much more.

End of the Year 2022 Show - Let's go out of 2022 with a Bang: As the year draws to a close and the final edition of Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovison Experience for 2022 we thought to keep the best for last. On 17 November 2022 Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome in the Netherlands was the setting of a great Eurovision Concert with many previous winners and artists. JP has been out and about at the event and met some of the artists as part of a press moment and conducted short interviews with:

Johnny Logan (Eurovision Winner 1980, 1987, Ireland): "What's another year" and "Hold me now"
Helena Paparizou (Eurovision Winner 2005, Greece): "My Number One"
Mans Zelmerloew (Eurovision Winner 2015, Sweden): "Heroes"
Frizzle Sizzle (Netherlands 1986): "Alles heft Ritme"
Gjon's Tears (Switzerland 2021): "Tout l'Univers"
TIX (Norway 2021): "Fallen Angle"
Sheldon Riley (Australia 2022): "I'm not the same"

In the Corona series of live interviews Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience is reaching out to a number of artists from the world of the Eurovision Song Contest but also from the national finals. This week Radio International's Interview Team JP and John Dawton are being joined via SKYPE  by Linda Martin who represented Ireland twice at the Eurovision Song Contest. First time round in 1984 with the song "Terminal 3" coming second in the contest but then she returned determined to take the winning trophy of the Eurovision Song Contest 1992 with the song "Why me" written by doube Eurovision Winner Johnny Logan (1980 and 1987 for Ireland).
Linda however, took part in the Irish national selections in the 1976, 1977 and 1982 in the group Chips and then as solo performance in 1986, 1989 and 1990. But there is more to find out from Linda Martin in the upcoming interview session.

Interview with Eldar Gasimov (Eurovision Winner 2011, Azerbaijan):  In the Corona series of live interviews Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience is reaching out to a number of artists from the world of the Eurovision Song Contest but also from the national finals. Over the last weeks we had an incredible success with having a number a great artists sharing an hour with Radio International's Interview Team such as Katrina of Katrina and the Waves, Sanna Nielsen, Nicki French, Rainer from Wind, Jalisse, James Newman, Senhit, Serhat, Vanessa Amarosi, Claudia Faniello, Lesley Roy, Brooke, Martina Majerle of Quartissimo, Miriam Christine just to mention a few.  

This week Radio International's Interview Team JP and John Dawton are being joined again, via SKYPE, by Eurovision 2011 Winner and Co-Host of Eurovision 2012 from Azerbaijan - Eldar Gasimov who together with his singing partner Nigar Jamal or Nikki won the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song "Running Scared". In 2012, when Azerbaijan's capital Baku hosted Eurovision, Eldar was the Co-Host of the Eurovision Song Contest.

Eldar was already on the show on 07 October 2020, however, there were many questions unanswered and Eldar agreed to rejoin the Radio International Interview Team for a continuation of the interview this week.

Junior Eurovision 2020
will take place in Warsaw, Poland after the victory of young Viki Gabor  who won in 2019 in Poland with the song “Superhero”. The contest will be staged on 29 November 2020 with Germany debuting and not taking part in 2020 are Albania, Armenia, Australia, Ireland, Italy, North Macedonia, Portugal and Wales.
13 countries have confirmed participation, Belarus, France, Georgia, Germany, Kazakhstan, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Spain and Ukraine.

Performances: Due to the Corona Pandemic a new way had to be found to stage Junior Eurovision 2020. This will be the first time that the contest will be held remotely, with each artist performing from a television studio in their country of origin. To give smoothness and confidence to the competition, the 13 participating broadcasters committed themselves to giving equal conditions to each of the participants, using a similar scenario and the same technical resources. The opening protocol, interval acts and voting will be broadcast live from Studio 5 in TVP Headquarters on Warsaw, Poland.

Live Interview with Chanel Monseigneur (JESC 2020, Malta):  Chanel has won the national selection in Malta to represent her country at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020 from Warsaw, Poland. She will sing the song "Chasing Sunsets". Chanel will be joining JP in the studio live via skype this week and chat about her participation at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020. Interview with Petar Anicic (JESC 2020, Serbia):  Petar was selected to represent Serbia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020 from Warsaw, Poland. He will sing the song "Heartbeat". Radio International in collaboration with Alain Forrotti from Belgian Radio reached out for the young singing stars to have an interview since the Corona Pandemic does now allow any travel of the journalists. : Ala will represent host nation Poland at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020 from Warsaw, Poland. She will sing the song "I'll be standing". Radio International in collaboration with Alain Forrotti from Belgian Radio reached out for the young singing stars to have an interview since the Corona Pandemic does now allow any travel of the journalists.
