In the Corona series of live interviews Radio International - The Ultimate Eurovision Experience is reaching out to a number of artists from the world of the Eurovision Song Contest but also from the national finals. Since Jun 2020 we had an incredible success with having a number a great artists sharing an hour with Radio International's Interview Team and the fans. This week Radio International's Interview Team JP and John Dawton are being joined via SKYPE  by Linda Martin who represented Ireland twice at the Eurovision Song Contest. First time round in 1984 with the song "Terminal 3" coming second in the contest but then she returned determined to take the winning trophy of the Eurovision Song Contest 1992 with the song "Why me" written by doube Eurovision Winner Johnny Logan (1980 and 1987 for Ireland).
Linda however, took part in the Irish national selections in the 1976, 1977 and 1982 in the group Chips and then as solo performance in 1986, 1989 and 1990. But there is more to find out from Linda Martin in the upcoming interview session.

Melodifestivalen is Sweden's National Selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. In 2015, Mariette reached third place in the Final with "Don't stop believing". In 2017, it was "A Million Years" that came 4th and in 2018 the popular Swedish singer reached Number 5 with "For you" and in 2020 a Number 10 for "Shout it out". Further she is known to the fans of the Eurovision Song Contest as she was the Spokesperson from Sweden to pass the votes at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. KEiiNO (Norway 2019) with JP

Interview with KEiiNO (Norway 2019 and Melodi Grand Prix 2021): At the Eurovision Song Contest 2019, Norway's Trio KEiiNO won the public vote by far at Eurovision 2019 in Tel Aviv with the song "Spirit in the Sky". KEiiNO are Tom Hugo, Alexandra and Fred and since their entry at Eurovision they have been touring around the Eurovision World. The group have been busy bees since their success in Israel and released new material on a regular basis.  The latest news out of Norway is that KEiiNO will be competing in the Norwegian selection to the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in the Semi Final 1 in Melodi Grand Prix 2021 with the song "Monument". The Team of Radio International is extremely happy to have the please to chat with Alessandra, Tom Hugo and Fred live on Radio International on this week's edition of the show.

Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 - Complete Coverage, Interviews and Photos

Dear Fans of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013. Please find below a summary of all the interviews and photos we took here in Kiev and Palace of the Ukraine since we are here. As already announced during the recent edition of Eurovision Radio International JP from Eurovision Radio International appears on German radio station Alex Offener Kanal  88.4FM from Berlin, Germany.
During a special edition of the show called "Radiothek-Die Music Show" which is hosted by Christian Abraham, JP will be chatting with Christian about the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 which was staged in Malmoe, Sweden on 14, 16 & 18 May 2013.

Week 19/2013 on Eurovision Radio International from Malmoe, Sweden


 In case you missed the live broadcast of 
Eurovision Radio International from 08 May 2013 from Malmoe, Sweden

Join Eurovision Radio International this Wednesday 08 May 2013, 8-11pm CET for the first of a special edition of Eurovision Radio International. As the Team of Radio International is in Malmö, Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest this and next week Radio International broadcasts its traditional programme "Eurovision 2012 meets Eurovision 2013" as a review to last year's Eurovision Song Contest entries and a look ahead of the songs that are competing in 2013. This week it is Part 1 of 2. Part 2 will be broadcast at the same time next week.

Due to this special programme Radio International changes the format of this and next week's edition of the show therefore cannot accept any music requests this and next week. All resumes in the normal format when the team is back in the studio in the Netherlands on 22 May 2013 with coverage of the two Eurovision weeks and interviews with the Eurovision artists.

39 countries are competing for the trophy and the right to host the Eurovision Song Contest 2014. The countries are distributed into two Semi Finals and the Top Ten of both Semi Finals meet in the Grand Final on the Big Five (Germany, Spain, France, United Kingdom, Italy and the host country Sweden.

Semi Final 1 of the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 is scheduled for Tuesday, 14 May 2013.
Semi Final 2 of the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 is scheduled for Thursday, 16 May 2013.
The Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 is scheduled for Saturday, 18 May 2013.

All three shows come from the Malmö Arena in Sweden and who fill follow in the footsteps of Loreen as Winner of the Eurovision Song Contest? :)  May the best song win and now enjoy this week's three hour Eurovision extravaganza.

Eurovision Radio Show Archive - Are there any more Eurovision Radio Shows out there?

Eurovision Radio International exists for over 15 years and provides a weekly three hour radio show about the Eurovision Song Contest including live interviews with the Eurovision performers, listerners' music requests, quizzes, Eurovision News Bulletins from escXtra and lots of special features to do with the Eurovision Song Contest. The show has its own website www.radiointernational.tv and is broadcast live on Wednesday evenings from 2000 - 2300 hours CET on the following means:
  • FM 106.8, 
  • Digital Cable 781,
In addition to these services Radio International also offers  for the fans and listeners that cannot join the show and chat room live, a LISTEN AGAIN service and PODCAST service. The shows are stored in the Show Archive on the website for quite some time enabling the fans to catch up with what they missed.

There is not only the weekly editions of Eurovision Radio International but also a collection of Eurovision Radio Shows from other countries such as:

  • Belgium's Europe Start Listening Now from eurovisiOradio
  • Wale's Oystermouth Radio's W12P
  • UK's Eurovision Domination on Sine FM
Radio International would like to extend this service also to other countries' Eurovision radio shows and make these shows available on the Show Archive for a certain period of time.
