Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022:  The 20th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to take place on 11 December 2022 following the victory of Armenia in the 2021 edition with Malena and the song "Qami Qami".

In view of the 20th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, Radio International broadcasts a special edition celebrating the 20 years of the contest's existence since 2003 with looking back at all the 19 past winners and Junior Highlights and Memories over the years. Also hear some of the Theme Songs of the Junior Eurovision Song Contests. But also of course, in full hear all the songs that are in the running from the 16 participating countries.

Sixteen countries will participate in the contest with The United Kingdom returning after a sixteen-year absence, while Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Germany and Russia will not take part this year.

The participating countries are: Albania, Armenia, France, Georgia, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Malta, The Netherlands, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Spain, Ukraine and the United Kingdom.

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022  will be held at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex. This will be the second time that Armenia hosts the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, the first being in 2011 from the same venue. The hosts are Armenia's Eurovision participant 2016 Iveta Mukuchyan, Garik Papoyan and Karina Ignatyan.

JESC 2016: Interview with Anahit and Mary (Armenia 2016)

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2016 takes place in the Mediterranean Conference Centre (MCC) in Valletta, Malta on Sunday, 20 November 2016. A total of 17 countries are participating: Albania, Armenia, Australia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Cyprus, FYRO Macedonia, Georgia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Malta, Poland, Russia, Serbia, The Netherlands and Ukraine.

The Delegations and many International Media are in Valletta, Malta to enjoy the biggest annual European music event for children. From the official welcoming ceremony onwards, everyone is focussed on not only delivering a good individual performance, but also to promoting the values in this year’s Junior Eurovision logo #Embrace.

When they aren’t busy rehearsing, the youngsters have had the opportunity to discover some of the sites and get to know some of the people from historic Malta.

The 2016 edition of the Eurovision Song Contest takes place in Stockholm, Sweden with the participation of 42 countries that are competing on May 10 and 12 in the two Semi Finals and then the Grand Final itself on 14 May 2016.

Monica and the Team from Armenia
Lukasz and JP from Radio International are on location of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 conducting interviews with the young hopefuls that are representing their countries at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest this year from the Place of the Ukraine in the heart of Kiev, which is this year's venue.



During the rehearsals per country the young artists are giving interviews chatting about their music and life.

The running order was decided at the Welcome Reception last night where each performing young artists picked their starting position.

The Team of Radio International invites you to this week's SPECIAL EDITION of the show coming to you live from the Palace of Ukraine in the heart of Kiev where the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 takes place.

This week is a rather special edition of Radio International as some members of the Team are located in the host city of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013.

The 11th and 2013 edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be staged at Palace of Ukraine in Kiev, Ukraine on Saturday 30 November 2013 after last year's victory of Anastasiya Petryk who won for the Ukraine with the song "Nebo".

12 countries have confirmed their participation of young artists from: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Georgia, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Netherlands, Russia, San Marino, Sweden and Ukraine competing for the trophy of the event. Consult the offical event's website Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 for all the latest news concerning the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 and also you will also find all detailed information about the young artists. Members of the Team of Radio International will be present at the event and conduct interviews with the young artists which you can hear during the shows around the 04 December 2013.
 
But this week's show also comes from Kiev's Palace of the Ukraine and JP and the team takes you down Memory Lane of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest by playing you all the Winners of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest since the beginning of the event 11 years ago. 
Also the favourites and hightlights of the contest will feature in the second hour and in the third hour you will be able to hear all the 12 contestants of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 who will be competing come Saturday, 30 November 2013 for the trophy of the event.
